About Me

Daniel is a dedicated firefighter paramedic with over 16 years of experience in emergency services. His passion for education and training began at La Paz Regional Hospital, where he taught continuing education (CE) courses for medical professionals. Recognizing his aptitude for instruction, he transitioned to Estrella Mountain Community College, initially serving as an evaluator for EMT students before securing a full-time instructor role.

During his tenure as an instructor, Daniel played a key role in developing EMT education programs, achieving remarkable first-time pass rates among his students. His leadership and expertise led to his promotion as Program Supervisor, where he oversaw:

  • Five EMT cohorts
  • Fire Preparation programs
  • American Heart Association (AHA) courses
  • Fire Science classes

In this role, he also forged partnerships with fire departments, hospitals, private ambulance services, and West-MEC, expanding opportunities for students and strengthening emergency medical education in the region.

Identifying a growing demand for high-quality EMS and Healthcare training in the West Valley, Daniel took the initiative to establish Rapid Response Education, a premier training center dedicated to equipping the next generation of emergency responders and healthcare workers with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field.

His commitment to excellence in emergency services education continues to shape the future of EMS/Healthcare professionals, ensuring they are well-prepared to serve their communities with competence and confidence.
