
About Me
Ryan is a committed firefighter, EMT, and educator with a strong passion for emergency response and training future first responders. He has been serving as a firefighter in the valley for the past two years, following four years of service in Salt Lake City.
His background includes 12 years in the Utah Army National Guard as a machinist and welder. During that time, his unit was designated as a decontamination team for the Homeland Emergency Response Force for three years, where he earned his Hazmat Technician certification.
Ryan also has extensive teaching experience, having served as a lead instructor at the West Valley Fire Academy in Utah. Over the past year, he has taught at Gateway Community College and West-MEC before joining Rapid Response Education. With his wealth of hands-on experience, he brings practical knowledge into the classroom while fostering a dynamic, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
