Mike Wanczyk is a dedicated and experienced professional, boasting an impressive 14-year career as a firefighter. His journey in the field of emergency services has not only allowed him to serve his community but has also fueled his passion for education. Over the same 14-year period, Mike has distinguished himself as an educator, sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise with aspiring professionals in the healthcare and emergency response sectors.

     Throughout his teaching career, Mike has specialized in critical life-saving techniques, offering courses in CPR and First Aid, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). His commitment to equipping individuals with essential skills has made a significant impact on countless lives, empowering students to respond effectively in emergency situations.
In addition to his teaching roles, Mike brings a wealth of practical experience to his profession. He spent two years as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic, where he played a vital role in providing advanced medical care during air transport for critically ill patients. His clinical experience at Banner Health further enriched his understanding of patient care and emergency response, allowing him to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application in his teaching.

     Outside of his professional commitments, Mike is a proud father to five wonderful children—four daughters and one son. His family is the cornerstone of his life, and he treasures every moment spent with them. Additionally, Mike is a doting grandfather to three energetic grandsons, who bring him immense joy and laughter.

     When he is not engaged in firefighting, teaching, or spending quality time with his family, Mike enjoys exploring outdoor activities, fostering a sense of adventure in his children, and creating lasting memories with his loved ones. He believes that the skills and knowledge he shares with others can make a profound difference, and he is dedicated to shaping future generations of first responders and healthcare professionals.
