About Me
Daniel Dawson is a board-certified emergency physician and a fifth-generation Arizonan, born and raised in Glendale. After graduating from Mountain Ridge High School, he earned his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University and completed both his master’s and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degrees at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He went on to complete his Emergency Medicine residency in Kingman, Arizona, where he was honored by his peers as Best Educator upon graduation. He now works full-time in the emergency department in the West Valley—he jokes that he doesn’t get out much.
During his undergraduate years, Daniel completed an EMT-Basic program and developed a lasting respect for pre-hospital care. That early exposure helped shape his passion for emergency services and gave him a deep appreciation for the skill, discipline, and teamwork required in the field.
As Medical Director of Rapid Response Education, Daniel brings extensive clinical experience, educational leadership, and a strong commitment to advocacy. He serves as adjunct faculty at Midwestern University, has served on the board of AzACEP (Arizona Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians), and currently acts as Regional Advocacy Director for the national medical group he works with. He ensures that Rapid Response Education maintains the highest standards of clinical oversight, safety, and educational quality while supporting both patients and providers.
Outside the ER, Daniel is a devoted husband and father of five. He spends much of his free time volunteering in his church’s youth programs and enjoys mountain biking in the Arizona desert. A lifelong fan of fantasy literature, his favorite series is Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson.
Daniel’s passion for pre-hospital care, advocacy, and medical education is central to Rapid Response Education’s mission of preparing confident, capable, and community-minded healthcare professionals.
