About Me

Mike Medina has dedicated the past decade to serving in the field of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), gaining extensive hands-on experience and a deep understanding of prehospital care. Over the course of his career, he discovered a passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring EMTs, recognizing the vital role education plays in shaping the next generation of emergency responders.

Mike began his teaching journey under the guidance of Daniel Davis at Estrella Mountain Community College, where he developed his skills as an educator while continuing to serve in EMS. His commitment to giving back to the community is evident in his approach—blending real-world experience with a focus on building both technical competence and the confidence students need to excel in high-stress situations.

In addition to his work in EMS and education, Mike values time spent outdoors and with family. On his days off, he enjoys camping, exploring nature, and making memories with his loved ones. His dedication to service, both in and out of the classroom, continues to make him a respected and inspiring presence in the EMS community.
